Location is fantastic, just steps from Penn Station and close to many attractions. The room was a bit small and outdated. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Great location and nice bar, but noisy and dated corridors.

Location is super convenient, next to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. The elevators are extremely slow, which can be frustrating. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean. The decor feels very outdated and the bathrooms need an upgrade. A decent spot for a short stay, but not luxurious.

Location is unbeatable—right across from MSG and close to incredible pizza. The view from the 38th floor? Absolutely stunning, featuring the Chrysler and Empire State buildings. Staff were generally polite, especially on the front desk. Naida at the switchboard stood out with her friendly demeanor, making mornings brighter. maintenance issues persisted; elevators were slow and the bathrooms felt dated. One staff member attempted to charge for an item that wasn’t our fault, but thankfully, management was understanding. Rooms were small for the price, and noise from sirens disrupted sleep. With proper improvements, this hotel could truly shine. Worth considering if you prioritize location and views over size and modernity.

We hit up the Empire State for dope views and then cruised to the city for some epic shopping sprees. The room was spacious, and the vibe was so cool.
We wished they had a rooftop party spot for us to chill and vibe with other young peeps.

You can’t beat the spot; it's a stone's throw from everything you want to see.
But the decor feels like it needs a time machine.

During my stay on the 33rd floor, I was thrilled with the stunning views of Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building, and I loved how everything I wanted to see was within walking distance, with Times Square being just over a kilometer away and other attractions like Bryant Park and the New York Public Library just a short stroll away;

The location was perfect—right by Penn Station! The Art Deco decor gave the hotel so much character. The staff were incredibly helpful and the bed was super comfy!

The room was spacious with comfortable beds and excellent pillows. I appreciated the great view of the Empire State Building. Clean towels were provided daily, and the hot water in the shower was always consistent. The Wi-Fi was strong, and there was ample space for luggage. the bathroom was a downside; it was small, lacking shelves, and felt outdated. The tub had some cleanliness issues. A fridge was handy for chilling drinks. A coffee maker would have been a welcome addition. Friendly staff made the stay enjoyable, particularly in the Trattoria Bianca restaurant.

The historical museum and Tesla corner were fascinating highlights of my stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay.
Elevator wait times were terrible, often up to 15 minutes with only two in service. Charging $5 per bag for luggage storage after check-out is just not right.

The New Yorker offers a prime location near Penn Station, making it easy to explore the city. The staff are generally helpful and attentive. While my room was smaller than expected, it was clean and secure, ensuring a comfortable stay overall. Perfect for travelers prioritizing accessibility.

I had a terrible experience with the staff – they were dismissive and unhelpful. The room was outdated, and the shower was either scalding hot or freezing. Plus, the street noise was unbearable at night. Total disappointment!

The renovations didn't hide the charm of the Art Deco heritage. The Sky Lounge felt like I was on top of the world. The Italian restaurant was a hidden gem for delicious eats.
Misplaced items? It's like a magical disappearing act, but without the fun.

The hotel's central location made it convenient to hop on the subway to these iconic spots, and the 24-hour diner next door was a lifesaver for our hungry crew.
My wife says that the bathroom lacked child-friendly amenities.

Charming hotel, charming experience with a perfect location right next to Penn Station and a well-equipped gym that made my stay even more enjoyable.
It was all superb.

Location was fantastic, right by Penn Station and MSG—perfect for catching a Rangers game. The room was massive with a stunning view of the Chrysler and Empire State buildings from the 38th floor. the mood was dampened by a slight smoke smell and the need for some serious renovations. Hallway carpets were worn, and the decor showed its age. Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating, though I did encounter a minor hiccup with a charge. All said, fantastic value for the area, especially for a night’s crash after a long day. Would consider returning.

The location was spot on, right smack in the center of it all and close to everything I needed. The staff members were super friendly and made me feel safe during my solo trip. Plus, the daily room cleaning was efficient and kept everything tidy.
Although most things were great, the room size could've been bigger, and the shower was a bit disappointing with low water pressure. Also, being charged for luggage storage and some maintenance issues with leaking water were a letdown.

I chose Wyndham for its proximity to Madison Square Garden, as I wanted to attend an event there. The enthusiastic on-site team pleasantly surprised me, ensuring my every request was taken into consideration. The diner served delicious American-style comfort food, which was a delightful culinary experience.
In urgent need of refurbishment.

Location was excellent! Right in the heart of everything, close to major landmarks. The room was cleaned every day, which was a nice touch.
The room we paid extra for didn't match the online pictures at all. We were quite disappointed.

The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to Penn Station and major attractions. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the convenience of having Penn Station right across the road. The beautiful art deco foyer was a nice touch and added to the charm of the hotel. The room keys constantly needed to be reset, which was quite inconvenient.

The location was excellent- just one block from Penn Station and Madison Square Gardens. The subway was steps away, making it convenient to explore the city. The Nespresso coffee maker with quality coffees added a nice touch to the stay. Despite a few setbacks, overall, I'll recommend this hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! We were a young family visiting New York for the weekend, and the location couldn't have been more ideal. Being right next to the subway station made it incredibly easy to explore the city, including Empire State Building and Times Square. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel safe throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable with modern amenities, and the view from our suite on the 40th floor was breathtaking. We loved the Art Deco vibe and the convenience of having Hudson Yards and the High Line nearby. Highly recommended!
Housekeeping could use some improvement.

As a woman traveling alone, I loved the convenient location, walking distance to popular attractions, and plenty of nearby food options.
Felt privileged, nothing to complain about.

I loved the location of Wyndham. the room was excellent, very clean, and had the added bonus of 2 bathrooms. the check-in desk staff went above and beyond to sort out a reservation issue, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and having easy access to the subway.
Nothing not to love 😊

Couldn't recommend more.
